Rostelecom is considering the possibility of selling its subsidiary company, GNC-Alfa fixed connection operator in Armenia, said Rostelecom CEO Mikhail Oseevsky, TASS reports.

"We are thinking about how complementary this business is for us. The legislation is different, the product also, so we think how best to organize our work. Maybe through sale, "said Oseevsky.

Rostelecom acquired 75% minus 1 share of GNC-Alfa in 2012 for $ 22.5 million. At present, it is the only foreign operator under Rostelecom's control.

Let us note that GNC-Alfa CEO was Vahan Martirosyan from 2008 to 2016. In September, 2016 he was appointed Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies.
