Head of the General Department of Civil Aviation under the Government of the Republic of Armenia Sergey Avetisyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Armenia Mr. Igor Nazaruk's delegation.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues related to the air transportation between the two countries, in particular, the prospects of the Belarusian airline to resume flights to Armenia and to increase the frequency of flights, as well as to strengthen the position of the airline in the Armenian airline.

Ambassador Nazaruk expressed his readiness to render necessary assistance in the expansion and development of relations between the two countries in the field of air transportation.

The head of the General Department welcomed the resumption of flights by Belavia on March 25, 2018 - two flights per week on the direction Minsk-Yerevan-Minsk, expecting the airline to implement the programs of new routes' development. The meeting ended with an agreement on further cooperation
