Fakebank's new virus, which attacked the Android operating system, has hindered users from making calls to the bank, reports Symantec experts.

The viral program may interfere with both outgoing and incoming calls. At the moment when the user of the virus program calls the bank, the program transmits that call to special programmers- frauds who can use the information received during the conversation and steal the money.

There is also the opposite scenario, the fraudsters call victims, as if the call is made from the bank. Experts advise to be more careful before downloading applications and not to use unknown sources and unknown origin software recommendations.
