Ukraine's sugar sales in the first month of the summer increased almost one-fourth times in the external markets compared to the same period last year. 67.6 thousand tons of sugar were exported in June.

Such data was provided by the National Sugar Association.

According to the Association, Uzbekistan and Libya remain the main buyers of this product, 51 and 35 %, respectively, during the reporting period.

Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia have consumed a small part of Ukrainian sugar.

Generally, for 10 months Ukrainian producers have sold more than 500,000 tons of sugar in foreign markets.
