The Georgian parliament has submitted a bill on intensifying the process of getting the right of residence for foreigners without legal status in the country, Imedi reports.

The authors of the draft amendments to the "Procedure for issuing passports and identification cards to citizens of Georgia, the order of registration of Georgian citizens and foreigners residing in the country" are the members of the ruling Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia faction Gocha Enukidze and Ilya Tsulaya.

According to the proposed amendments, it will be necessary to invest $ 300 thousand in Georgia or to acquire real estate in the country, which will cost $ 100 thousand.
