In January-June 2018, Russian Gazprom has increased gas supplies for major players in the European Union, reports Kommersant.

According to the report, 81.6 billion cubic meters of gas was sold to the countries of Western Europe in the first six months. Compared with the previous year, this figure increased by 6.4 %.

Most of the gas was exported to Germany, 29.6 billion cubic meters, and France and Poland are among the major players. The volumes of supplies to Turkey, Great Britain and Italy have dropped.
