The administration of US President Donald Trump will start providing $ 6 billion in aid to farmers affected by the custom duties, the TASS quoted the US Department of Agriculture as saying.

Of this amount, $ 4.7 billion will be allocated to corn, cotton, dairy products, soybeans and wheat producers. The ministry will also purchase $ 1.2bn worth of goods from farmers affected by the custom duties and distribute them through the charitable foundations. Another $ 200 million will be provided to farmers for access to overseas markets, which will be made within the framework of the Agricultural Product Sale Support Program.
