US President Donald Tramp's administration offered China another stage in trade talks by the end of September, allowing the US to abolish new customs duties for Chinese goods worth $ 200 billion a year, writes The Wall Street Journal referring to informed sources.
According to them, the Chinese side, led by Deputy Prime Minister of the People's Republic of China Lue Hye, sent an invitation to US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
A number of US government officials say they have experienced a new weakness in the Chinese producers and maybe Beijing will now be more flexible under the threat of new customs duties, writes the edition.
