Because of fraudulent information on the threshold of US Congressional elections, Facebook social network has blocked 251 accounts and 559 pages.

According to the CNN, the pages and user accounts have spread unsubstantiated information on political topics. They also increased popularity of records in social media through prohibited tools.

The company employees have noted that these pages and user accounts were created shortly before the election.
