The IMF and the Ukrainian government have agreed on the terms of the economic policy for the launch of a new stand-by agreement, which will be calculated for 14 months, the International Credit Organization said in its statement.

"The new Stand-by agreement will replace the agreement reached within the framework of the expanded financing program, which was reached in March 2015 and ends in March 2019," the document says.

The IMF said the new mechanism would provide $ 3.9 billion and will become the basis for Kyiv's policy implementation next year.
