One of the largest payment systems in the world, UNIONPAY, will soon be available to Ukrainians. The financial mega-regulator agreed with the conditions of the Chinese payment system for entering the Ukrainian market. This will happen in two stages.

At the first stage, the company will serve its cards in Ukraine and will provide cash to pay for goods.

At the second stage, Ukrainian banks will be able to issue payment and settlement cards.

The company has existed for 16 years. Based in China, today it is the largest payment system in terms of the volume of plastic cards ahead of Visa and MasterCard.
