Real wages in Russia (the amount of goods and services that a person can purchase for nominal wages) will increase by 7-8% by the end of 2018.
This assessment was made in the report on the monetary policy of the Bank of Russia.
As noted, in the third quarter, the increase in wages of social workers continued to make a positive contribution to the dynamics of wages.
"According to the estimates of the Russian bank, real wages will grow by 7-8% by the end of 2018," the report says.
At the same time, it is noted that the growth rate of real disposable monetary incomes of the population will turn out to be “significantly lower.”
According to the regulator, this is due to the dynamics of non-labor income and social transfers.
