The volume of remittances to Georgian commercial banks via electronic systems increased by 14.9%. According to the Georgian service Sputnik, the total amount of transfers in January-November 2018 amounted to more than 1.4 billion dollars.

The leader in terms of transfers is Russia. It accounts for 29% of the total remittances received in Georgia since the beginning of 2018.

Recall that in June, the flow of remittances to Georgia amounted to 135.1 million dollars. 93.6% of all transfers came from the 17 largest donor countries.

In June, 17.9 million dollars was transferred from Georgia abroad.
