Clovr conducted a study that showed that 15 percent of Americans make money transfers using virtual coins.

700 people took part in the survey. 76.8 percent of respondents sent money from the United States to other countries. Among them are Mexico, China, Nigeria and others.

15% of respondents said that they transfer money in cryptocurrency. 50% use the international payment system Western Union and the PayPal service. The remaining 35% used bank cards, checks and traditional e-money systems.

Clovr researchers note that the popularity of international transactions is due to a decrease in fees for the transfer of digital assets.

According to them, crypto operations are cheaper than traditional methods when sending money to other countries.
