According to the information-analytical company, Samsung Electronics has held a leading position among the sales of 1,000 registered companies over the past 17 years. But this year it lost its' position.

According to preliminary information, the company's revenues in 2018 sharply decreased to $ 39.7 billion, and were 24% less than in the previous year.

It is noted that over the past 7 years among 1000 companies Samsung accounted for 10% of total sales and up to 30% of total revenue.

Earlier, Samsung Electronics announced the closure of a mobile manufacturing plant in China. It was one of two Samsung factories in the Asian country. The closure is due to a decrease in demand in the Chinese market compared with the demand for local products.
